When Is A Good Time To Buy A Home??
The burst of the housing bubble was partly contributed to the popular belief that real estate investments were an automatic income generator. There was a conception that home prices would consistently continue to rise; therefore people borrowed as much as they could in order to accumulate a portfolio of real estate investments. Lenders were given the green light and dishing out as many loans as they could without completely qualifying the recipients, therefore leading to many defaulted loans and foreclosures which lead to the housing collapse. Although it was a scary time and very difficult to overcome, we may be seeing a light at the end of the tunnel. Home prices have declined significantly since the collapse and according to credible sources, such as the well-known Warren Buffet and Donald Trump, right now is a very good time to buy a home due to the low prices. In my opinion, the housing market is nearly bottomed out and buying a home would be a sound investment for the future. The object of an investment is buy low and sell high, so now is the "buying low" opportunity. Combine the low prices with the significantly low mortgage rates that are available right now and the pieces seem to be coming together for a smart investment. I wish everyone the best luck in their real estate endeavors and please feel free to contact me with any questions or comments.
